![]() Otherwise, you should again be fine as it is :) If you want to add other hacks or patches, you can do all of it before adding the game to Hakchi as is usually described in the readme files of the hacks, then add the game to Hakchi, and look up in one of the compatibility lists or search here on Reddit to see if the game needs a specific preset ID or sfrom patch. If it's not recognized thst doesn't mean it's a bad rom, it's just not exactly the one that it referenced in the database (No-Intro exclusively, if I'm bot mistaken). If it's recognized properly (meaning that information like release date are added automatically) you can be pretty sure that it will be set up correctly. This doesn't mean the game won't work, far from it, it just won't be automatically set up according to the information in Hakchi's database.īasically, if you want to add a game without adding any hacks or translations, you should be absolutely fine if you just get a good rom (preferably from the No-Intro or GoodSNES sets) and add it via Hakchi. So, in general, I don't think you need to worry about it - unless, as you correctly said, you patch a game before adding it to Hakchi, in which case it won't be recognized anymore as a game from the included database, so no pre-defined information or patches will be applied. ![]() Also, I think the version of SFROM Tool included with Hakchi should work just fine. I'm not entirely sure, but I think most relevant sfrom patches, including Robin64's great collection, are included with Hakchi nowadays. r/miniSNESmods seems to be a very friendly and helpful community. edit 2: Thanks u/Exotic_Back8573, /u/Syrijon, /u/arkiokin and /u/DarkMime46 for your help. Adding the original ROM, then install IPS patches within SFROM (Press Ctrl + Alt + E in Hakchi) did the trick. I shouldn’t have added the already patched ROM to hakchi becaus this way it wasn't able to detect the correct preset ID (109C). Trying to play it on SNES Mini Classic with Hakchi 3.9.1/Canoe there’s only a black screen, although the compatibility community doc says, German version of the US ROM should work. The ROM plays fine on my PC (Retroarch with SNES9X core). Applied German Improvement Patch by DigiSalt, also tried without it.Applied Alemanic German Translation Patch.Took that as a base ROM: Super Mario RPG - Legend of the Seven Stars (U).If being eaten by an enemy or falling into a bottomless pit, crushed by a time machine, the character is subtracted one life.I want to play Super Mario RPG with German fan translation mods on Classic Mini, preferably in Canoe emulator. Be careful! In each stage, the character will have a certain number of lives, and the game ends only when the character runs out of life or reaches the destination. ![]() As announced before, this version has been provided with a terrifying enemy that is a dinosaur that can eat character. Along with the appearance of enemies, obstacles also appear, requiring players to use jumping skills or use items such as booms and mines to destroy and overcome. To overcome the level, the character will use certain powers to perform the movements of jumping, rotating, passing opponents. The gameplay remains the same as in its predecessor, and the player will control Mario or Luigi through many missions with the main goal of reaching the last flagpole to rescue the princess. The plot still revolves around the character Mario – who will go to rescue Princess Toadstool from the hands of villain Bowser and his minions. SUPER MARIO WORLD is a beautiful role-playing game that attracts a large number of players.
